The Marysville Stampede and Flying U Rodeo has been held annually since 1933, usually on Memorial Day weekend, at Beckwourth Riverfront Park Complex. It is produced by Cotton Rosser and the Flying U Rodeo Company and features some of the nation's top rodeo cowboys. Events include Bareback Riding, Saddle Bronc Riding, Bull Riding, Steer Wrestling, Team Roping, Calf Roping, WPRA Women's Barrel Racing, and Kids' Mutton Bustin' (in which kids ages 4 to 7 try to ride a sheep). Cotton Rosser also owns Cotton's Cowboy Corral in Marysville.

The 2009 rodeo will start at 5:30p.m., after a 5:00 pre-show. Tickets are $15.50 for adults and $10.50 for children. You can save $4.00 by purchasing presale tickets at one of the rodeo ticket outlets.
